The food technology room provides a state of the art learning environment for Technological and applied studies (TAS) lessons for students from years 7 through to 12. The senior students students undertaking hospitality training also unlock potential job opportunities as they learn valuable vocational skills.
Unicut Spaces installed a teachers demonstration workspace, as well multiple student workspaces featuring sinks, cooktops and ovens – so students can work in groups just they would in a real kitchen. This is important to help students learn the communication and teamwork skills vital for their careers.
Students learn about healthy eating and well as learning important food handling skills, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace.
